I can't for the life of me remember which size spring goes on what. I completely forgot to take note of this during the tear down cause I was in such a rush. There's 2 spring sizes, 1 spring is slightly taller and appears slightly thicker as well...exhaust side maybe? The other spring is the smaller one...which one's go on which side? Obviously the inner's are a no-brainer. :P

 

i would assume that the larger springs go on the intake side due to the larger lift and more duration and the smaller spring on the exhaust side

 

Ok, this is what I've got...I've got a set of red valve springs, a set of brown springs, and a set that I can't find any color on at all. Which one's would be best to go on intake and exhaust? Intake's obviously will get the inner spring as well (hopefully exhaust will have these too very soon).

 

My b16 had green springs on the intake if i remember, and i replaced them with yellow type r springs. The exhausts may have been red but i can't remember.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure what's what now and to top it all off I've been searching the web for the past 3 hours trying to find out the different springs colors. It seems that no one has a clue as to what anything is other than the typical hype-r yellow/blue intake/exhaust springs. :P
