Default dumbest question ever...A/C mounts

Title explains most of it lol...I have to put some a/c back in my 89 hatch. It's been so hot I can't even drive the bitch without gettin lightheaded from the heat, so I need to know which brackets/a/c compressors will work to fit a/c on my b16a in my hatch. Somebody mentioned something about a b20 a/c bracket with the d-series compressor, but I need some more info, not just some kid's word on it. I don't even care if I have to use a b-series compressor (I do have all the b16 compressor mounts, and some LS a/c brackets too), just as long as I can use the stock d-series lines and crap on it.

I had to buy the conversion bracket from HASport when I did my b16 swap in my CRX, so I don't think its as simple as using the b20 bracket. (All B series brackets should be the same right?)
My guess is using the B16 compressor would be the cheapest/easiest way to go, even if you had to modify the lines.

Well, if the whole reason for the hasport kit is to clear the front crossmember, then I shouldn't need it, depending on how far down the compressor sits (I have a custom homemade traction bar replacing the stock crossmember). I'll look at it and take some measurements to see how much clearance I have

i know in an eg swapped B the del sol vtec (P54) bracket allows you to keep the stock D series compressor, not too sure about the EF's though. AND NO, all B series brackets arent the same.

I thought the problem was that the bolt pattern was different, not crossmember clearence.
I don't know though, so don't listen to me I guess...

I have pr4 and pr3 brackets, just don't have anything else lol. I think I'm just gonna end up sweating it out for a little while longer and maybe do it over the winter while the car's in the garage

The p54 bracket is the one you need. the bolt pattern is for a b series block and a d series compressor. find one used because they are expensive new. they can be found on b series del sol's and crv's. even the used ones are kinda expensive just because of the demand.
