Hey this is my first post here at HMT. I just put a new clutch in a friends 92 civic sedan. while I got the drivexles out i want to change the boots and re-grease the joints, but can't slip the new boots over the outer joints without disassembling the axle how do i do this

 

mini sledge and hammer it off after you remove the old boot

 

You have to disassemble them. check out the manual.
I have seen the split boot type that glues together but not sure how well they are.
