Done with MPFI swap
I'm done with the swap ;D.
It;s awesome i could feel the increase in torque immediatly. Running on a PM7 ZC ecu. still got a code 13 though, but I can't find the damnn PA sensor. and a code 11, but that's the IMA sensor(euro spec ecu thing)..don't need that :P. I had a code 10 first though, I hooked up another IAT sensor and it was gone, but I still need to take out the old one and put the good one in....can't take it off with the manifold in place. This thing took me about 3 days...Had to make sure all the wires were correct....but it's mostly almost the same as the OBD0 wiring..only the colors are different on some wires. It idles nice and steady ...I'm so happy now it's time for the turbo setup.... |
Re:Done with MPFI swap
hey you there im doing my swap right now and have some questions!
|
Re:Done with MPFI swap
I know that on some euro hondas the PA sensor was external... so you may have to dig one up. If yours IS internal.. you got internal ecu trouble.

Re:Done with MPFI swap
i love doing mpfi swaps, its not that expensive and theres a big diff. over dpfi

Re:Done with MPFI swap
The PM7 ECU runs with no problems in the CRX....I think it has an external one, but I don't know where it's at.

Re:Done with MPFI swap
I Haven't seen any sites with good pic's yet. but it's pretty easy....Well for me everything on a car is easy....it's just you need know what you're doing and understand what you're going to do. You got to have a shop manual....can't do it without it. For me a shop manual was important because My wiring was different.
