Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

Well im getting voltage to the injectors but i pulled them and the needles arent moving.....and im not getting spark either.....WTF? THis is a brand new distributer.....the only thing that I know to do is break the wireharness down and check every little ------- wire......---- THIS CAR!!!!!!!! It has pissed me off beyond reason......
THe wire harness is my last guess....even tho I paid 70 dollars for it......i mean if it came out of a 91 civic with a ZC (iunno what that is) then its the same as a si harness right?? Please someone help me

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

Ran a compression test.....its not good. Well dont seem like it

#1=150 #2=210 #3=180 #4=185

Is that a sign of bent valves??

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

could be anything

more likely is worn rings

valves just dont bend unless the t belt slipped or you reved the piss out of the motor aka 9500+

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

Well thats better than bent valves.....
I cant figure anything else to do with this car except order ANOTHER wire harness.....
OR......tow it to the speed shop and have them fix it.....prolly gonna cost me hundreds of dollars, but
I have to get this thing running....---- it its worth the money.... its a CRX

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

Actually noooooo......
I talked to a friend of mine who said that he had a 91 si with a b18 and it had a new harness, computer, dizzy.....ect ect
And it wouldnt get fuel or spark.....it turned out that it was a ground on the transmission... ...
To make a story short he said put a test light on the engine with the ignition on and if it lights up then its a bad ground.....I dont have a test light with me, but when i hold a connector or w\e and touch the engine I can feel a slight current shockin me..........

I pray to ALL car gods that its the ground......how can i have been so ------ stupid.....if its that

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

ill bet its your ground, or main fuel relay, thats usually the only reason you wont get fuel (well fuel pump/ecu fuse) but yeah if you got spark its not the ecu :) the b16 is a torque-less wonder, i had to turbocharge mine just to be ok with it.. lol

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

Well i cleaned all the grounds they seemed pretty corroded.....with a PR4 hooked up I get a code 15.........
Now when i hook my PW0 I get a code 4....crankshaft postion sensor....arent those the 2 wires coming off the distributer....maybe i should swap black and yellow with the blue??
Can the crankangle sensor keep my car from starting

Main relay..good
Dizzy..brand spankin new
grounds..Perfect..
ECU...used 3 diff ones...same situation...
WTF!!!!!!! Is going on???

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

alright lets start over, your wiring is flawed..... this is off the top of my head

A1 - inj 1 (brown - on mpfi plug)
a3 - inj 2 (red - on mpfi plug)
a5 - inj 3 (blue - on mpfi plug)
a7 - inj 4 (yellow - on mpfi plug)

c1 should have been cut or repinned to b10
c2 should have been cut or repinned to b12

C1 should now be on the blue/green wire on diz
c2 should now be on the blue/yellow wire on diz

i can redo the wiring in 15 minutes, you should be able to too.

Re: Dizzy problems.....??? HELP!!!!

HOLY ----.........
I didnt know you had to change wires on your ECU when you do a B16 swap on a CRX......
I thought you plug in the harness and go except for Vtec
