is the only differnce between all the different odb dissy(obd 0, obd 1, obd 2) just the plugs and how they mount? the wires are the same, so if i just change the plugs, would it work ok? im putting a obd2 dissy on a d16z6, but im running it non obd. i just wanted to check before i go cutting plugs off.
now it wont work.. the sensores are diff somewhow not sure how but it wont work ive tried..
u need to use a 90 si and it wont mount right but u can get 1 bolt in and the other on the side of the right one.. and nothin on the top..

In short, No.
OBD0 and OBD1 have different CYP sensor tooth counts.
Im not aware of OBD1-2 differences.
Match your ECU to the distributor (OBD-wise)
If you put a OBBD1 ECU togther with an OBD1 distributor on a Non-OBD harness(for example), then you can just splice the wires to make the connectors works.
