i know its a stupid Q. but i found a site with really cheap swaps.

 

high comp better manifold better cams not much difference though. cable b16's are awlays cheaper

 

so a long block is better for turbo?

I would say they are both good for turbo, but obviously whatever one makes more power will have an advantage over the other.

A longblock is a complete block, with head, accessories, intake, all that ----, complete motor. A shortblock is a block with pistons and rods and ----, no head or intake or accessories.

Differ buy about 10hp, but the sensors/distributor will be obd0 vs obd1.

 

its its the same block. then why dose it make more hp stock then the other.
