What is decking?

 

my cousin asked me to add the beccause she thought it looked cool. And I do what she says because her husband is very large man and carries a gun to work. He delivers pizzas in Baghdad j/k hes helicopter pilot pray for thier family and his safe return.

 

Decking is a machining process that basically makes sure the head or block surface is completely flat. (Where the head and block meet.)

no it shouldn't. engine type ---- belongs here, don't clog up general with it.

decking just cuts the surface of the block and makes it perfectly flat. shaving the head makes the head perfectly flat, you put the 2 together and you should have a perfect seal.
