debur new pistons

Default debur new pistons
is it necessary to debur or sand the sharp edges of the valve reliefs on new forged pistons? its suppose to prevent hot spots and reduce detonation. my assembler feels that it should be done on all new pistons and im wondering if its needed to be done.
