Well, I made the mistake of buyin a DC 4-2-1 Header for my 99 EX, and now, like all DC headers, I GOT A ------- CRACK! The crack is right on the end of the weld coming off the head. Are these headers able to be tack welded? Reason I ask is becasue I dont know a thing about welding at all, and the fact that they are ceramic or ceramic coated, one of the 2. So if anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

 

ive had my DC header for 2 years now and no problems

 

They can be welded but they like to crack. Sell it too me for cheap

 

HAHA Yea, im gonna prolly sell it if I cant weld it, but they can be welded? Even tho they are ceramic?? I had my header a little over a year now...

 

Ya i welded up mine twice. Cracked at the collecter and at the merge.

dude....ceramic coated. them ***** are steel.

ive had a set for atleast 3 years and not a problem.
