Most sleeper baller d on the planet. To see the look on peoples faces. And the best part is itd prolly be cheaper than a B series swap STILL.

Without sleeving what is the largest bore a D can support? Assuming you fill the block to help with weakness.

I've seen a stock D at 76mm.

Filling won't help.

Hmm. If/when I have to replace my internals I am seriously considering this. With Vitara pistons It would give a near stock 9.61 CR but it would make it a true 1.7 liter at 1712cc @76mm

The d16 and d17 con rods are the same length right? 137mm? So a set of eagle hbeams or a good ibeam setup with the vitaras would make some downright nasty torque and I imagine a good amount of power without going to boost levels that make you cringe everytime you punch it.

The rods are the same length but the ends are a different size.Crower i beleive is the only one making rods for them and there 7-800 bucks Build one with a sleeved block and low comp pistons and let us now how it turns out

No, I was talking about a local guy. Got a build thread on yours? I'm curious.

I've also seen 82mm stock sleeve B18. High CR, nice cam. He plans on doing a remote/rear mount turbo. Should be interesting.
