Default d16z6 smoking after rebuild

Hey guys, last summer i rebuilt my d16z6 with new vitaras and rods and honed it out to 75.5mm and lately i have noticed a puff of blue smoke when i slow down and gas it again. I checked my oil level and it is low and i found a little oil on my breather filter. The only thing i didnt replace when i rebuilt the motor was valve seals but i dont think that is the cause. Any thoughts?

depends on what you are really trying to accomplish i guess, me i would just rebuild the head i got with new oem guides and seals throw skunk valve springs and retainers and vavles in it and rip it to 10k

well i probally get a rebuilt head and remove the stock and look at the cyl walls and see if there is anything wrong. what ive noticed lately is that when the motors cold, there is a tapping sound and ive listened to it under the hood and its not from the bottom end. I thought maybe the valves needed to be adjusted but i did do that when i assembled the motor. maybe thats a bad guide or somthing....

I've seen guys do .030 of 4 cyl by hand takes FOREVER, lol. Just a hone and a drill press.
