Default D16Z6 block, D16A6 head.....which timing belt?

I'm assuming the A6 belt? The Z6 belt is way too ------- short. That really pissed me off.

D15B2 = 107 teeth
D16Z6/D16Y8/D16Y7 = 104 teeth
D15B7 = 106 teeth
D15Z1/JDM D15B = 103 teeth

how many teeth does the a6 have? on ht someone had the same setup with a y8 block and said the a6 belt was too long.

Hmmmm....I'm not sure how many the A6 has. I'll have to go to the parts store and ask for a belt for an A6 and count the teeth. Thanks for that list though.

A6 belt for sure ------

Remember the a6/z6 are the same deck height, both the crank gears have the same tooth count. And I would assume the water pumps have the same tooth count as well. So you should be good to go with the a6.

The UnMini-me swap, nice docta

Dont forget that oil oriface in the head biatch, assuming you already did it

Everything is a pretty much a straight forward swap, you will need to extend the cooling fan switch wires from the back of the block to the upper tstat housing. Maybe add like 12 inchs? and use a different style connector. Also the wires can be hooked up either way in that connector, so it doesnt matter.

Yeah, I kinda forgot about the oil jet being in my ZC until someone reminded me and I kicked myself in the nuts for being so ------- dumb.

I got her in though. What sucks is I'm all set and ready to rock out with my **** out, but I lack the funds to go buy a new timing belt. I might go sell me *** around the neighborhood to make some money.

God damn it, that someone on Honda-Tech was probably just as pissed as I am right now. The ------- A6 belt is at least 2 teeth too big. I hate my car. I hate cars in general. I hate everything.

Now I get to ---- around and play musical timing belts. I'm too pissed to think about which one will work so I'm just going to leave it at that. ---- it.....

Anybody know the teeth count on an A6 water pump? If I can get away with changing the water pump I'll do that instead. That's the only damn thing I can see being different. Unless the actual cam postitioning is that much different from an A6 to a Z6?
