you can use everything from the dx just about.
wire harness, alternator, sensors, tranny.
you could even use all of your top end if you want.
good luck.

I can't think of anything that wouldn't work. The distributor might not bolt up(I'm not 100% sure on this)using all three bolts, but one is all you need.

You will need to put the oil orifice from your D15 block into the Z6 block if you're going to run the D15 non-VTEC head. Other than that, bolt it up.

ya you can use everything just for a block replacement.
like doc said, you gotta put the oil jet in that block from the dx motor if you want to use the dx top end.

for vtec:
the dizzy will have to be modified. or get a vtec dist.
you need to add a few wires from the solenoid to the ecu - easy.
vtec head.
vtec timing belt.
something to engage the vtec (rpm box, vafc, sfc)
socket that ecu and put the chip you need.
or convert the ecu to vtec and also socket it.
or get a p28.

i am going use either d16z6 Head(it is pnp on the intake, but not the exhaust and the head needs to be milled) or a stock d16z6 head, do yall know if d15b7 valves will work on d16z6? I am only missing 3 valves, springs, and retainer. Which head do you think i should use? As for the Dizzy, i am going to use my b15b7 dizzy because i am planning to run uberdata and the dizzy is obd1, but isn't the d16z6 dizzy obd1 also? Am i missing anything else off that motor that yall can see? thanks dr. boost and whiterice

use a z6 dist w/ the z6 head.

maybe upgrade to arp head studs since you have it all apart anyways.
