OK, I need to replace the rings on my car (smoking a touch ) and I've got a set of OEM y7 piston rings from a previous project, they should be cool to use, right? Let me know before I go and order some new rings...

 

compare honda oem part #'s.. I thought rings had to match the pistons?

 

I know the part #'s are different, and I've seen that the 1.5 and 1.6 rings are bit different as well, but I don't see why they wouldn't work...

 

u really wanna tare it down just to have to re-do it all again for the sake of $100 rings
