Default d15b7/ z1 head

ok so i bought stuff for a tuneup fo the new civic and i pulled the first spark plug and it had oil all over it. now instead of rebiulding the head i was thinking of buying a d15z1 head for better gas mileage since thats what this vehicle was intended to be anyway. what do you guys think? that might work right?

I think it might work... I'm not sure how the timing belt will work though.

I'm pretty sure the z1 has a different timing belt than all of the other motors, it uses the same water pump as the z6, and it also uses the same tensioner.

The one strange thing about the z1 you have to be careful with is you have to line the cam gear up differently than the d15b, and the z6, and the inner upper timing cover on the z1 is specific for that motor, so make sure you have that too.

If it works, which I think it should, it should get the same mileage as the z1, which is amazing at 40mpg +.
