Re: d15b7 build?
i believe that is true but youd be better of finding a sohc zc cam and using that or even just findin a aftermarket cam like the exospeed street a6 or somethin like that. the delta 272 could possibly be a good cam but im not too sure on that. :-\ you might also want to port the throttle body or find a b series or h22 throttle body.

Re: d15b7 build?
and you'll need to use a Y7/Y8 cam gear to correct the 1/2 tooth error at the cam gear when using a D16 cam in a D15 block.
The A6 cam has .040"I/.050"E more valve lift over a D15B7 cam. Yet to check the duration as the A6 cam in currently in use!!!!!! I'll be installing a Crane 251-0012 soon :) |
Re: d15b7 build?
is the a6 cam a noticeable difference...like where will the power band change?

Re: d15b7 build?
k forgot to ask this also...when i am looking for a y7 or y8 cam gear how come they list them for all applications....ie d15,d16 92-00? what do i need to look for?

Re: d15b7 build?
most aftermarket cams you are seeing are adjustable, which means you can make up the difference with any of them. Get an adjustable, it is a nice thing to have.
