Kevin, why don't you just make a conversion harness and make the car OBD1?

okay I don't remember exactly the deal with the PS9, you'll have to let me ----- up FI in order for me to try and revive my memory.
But I will adress some concerns for using the PR3 or PW0 ecu in the car.
1- I just wouldn't use them
2- I believe these use 2 O2 sensors, so you would have to disable both O2 sensors or add another O2.
3- I believe these also use knock sensors, so you would have to disable that.
So yeah, you would have to chip the ECU either way, and I know you have the resources to do it, no biggy.
If any of the above information is incorrect feel free to correct me and I will correct it also.
Personally I would rather run a P28 rather than these 2 up there.
PS9, something about one wire vtec, socket... Dammit, brain is still soggy.

he has an obd1 engine, convert to obd1, probably alot easier. then u can sell him a chipped p06 w/ veetack y0.

Oh ---- break through! i FARTED!!! Oh and I remembered a little something about the PS9.
The deal with the 'one wire vtec' on this ecu is that all you need to do is run one wire from the ECU to the vtec selinoid. You won't have to wire it for a pressure switch or knock sensor or worry about the 2nd O2 sensor problem like the PR3 and PW0.
So yeah the one wire vtec, one wire from the ecu to the vtec selinoid. Right now I don't remember what pin it is, but maybe after farting a little more it will come back to me. All I do remember is that it's on the A plug. Maybe someone can chime in and enlighten us.
Again if any of this information is incorrect please feel free to correct me.

Re:d15b in to a 91 si??
how hard is it to make the conversion harness was yours successful murdoc? i see that you wire from obd0 to obd1 clips, then have to run wires off the ecu side to wire in to the engine bay for injectors and the 4 wire 02 sensor? i'm actually interested in doing this now, it looks like a challenging learning expereince, and this friend (who knows nothing about cars really, he use to be in to imports about 5 years ago when body kits were cool, he was talking about ordering z3 fenders for this rex and i slapped him and told him to hold my hand for the next year or so and don't do anything to the rex without my permission) would be forever grateful since i'm doing all this work for free :P
