we are putting a minime togather and i am wondering if a d16 a6 with d series integra rods and pistons with a d16z head will run or will it slap valves? compression will be like 12.:1 right? i need help no turbo is going on want all motor. or should i just use the teg rods and make the pistons into ashtrays

i would need alot more numbers and soem math wok to tell you if that will work, but what you need to do is this
check the connecting rod lengths, if they are the same they can be swapped, i think you will be ok here.
check the piston compression height, center of the wristpin bore to the top(flat part, not the crown) if this is different you will need to factor it in to the compression ratio if it is lower, if it is higher the pistons may hit the head.
if youneed to check the clearance of the valves to the pistons put a lillte modeling clay on the pistons, assemble the engine just like you normally would, and then crank it over by hand, then pull the head and measure how thick the clay has been squished to. it isnt really safe to run with under.100" piston to valve clearance, but that rule comes from v8 guys, so im not to sure on the hondas... wish i knew, but i cant afford to try it and see...
