d series transmission strength?

i was talking with the guy from my local shop and he told me that my AUTOMATIC would not last long under boost witha d series. is this true or not? any way to strengthen or prevent this?

i dunno about the trans itself but i doubt the torque converter would hold up to much power

My buddy has a 95 Civic EX auto. bossting 11psi and it holds very good. All you need is a different torque converter.

I'm not sure of the company but i read it in one of my old hona tuning mags. i'll look fo it. and yeah it was something like a level 10 and cost the guy like 1,000 bucks.

ill have to dig it up!
