Default D series Head GASKET

hi i just want to ask Are all D series headgasket the same ? some are cheaper then other im trying to put a mini me together d16z6 head with a Y7 block i got the block for $50 is this a good combination for boost ? Because the compression is going to be like 9.6 not 9.2 like my old z6 thank

im running a y7 block and y8 head. my compression with my srp 9"1s is like 9.7 to 1. im boosting 10 lbs right now on a stock y8 head gasket and its fast. im uppin it to 15 lbs this weekend. ill let you know how it hold up

i heard the y8 gasket is thiner then the new design of the z6 gasket right ?

what is the stock compression ratio of the d16y8 is it like 9.6 :1 ? anyone boost 10 psi on it ?

d15z6 head gasket are quite thick they have tendency to be fragile.

A6 composite .043
Z6 MLS/metal .043
Y8 MLS/metal and I've heard it's thinner.

My A6 composite has seen 16psi... Head studs help.
