Default D series engine rebuild...

Anyone have the specs for rebuilding a D16Z6? I saw somewhere maybe www.theoldone.com but there are alot of little tricks about rebuilding a D series. anyways im lookin to rebuild my D series and looking for some help to make a long story short. Any web sites

Just a rebuild. I will probably buy the vitara pistons, and get some kind of rods....I was just looking for a write up, or anything...

wait till u get those rods out of the block so u can see what length they are because theyre sorta longer than normal d15s but shorter than d16s

unless u wanna custom make crower rods

maybe some b rods are closer to spec

I dont know of any aftermarket company that makes rods for the D15. Your better off starting with a D16, They are cheap and easy to find. The crank journals are about twice the size of a D15.

Crower makes D15 rod's the I-beam ones...$600+
Race engineering can get you some custom Eagle rod's for cheaper I think.
