Default Cylinder/Crank Position Senor?

Ok, i have some questions the Cylinder/Crank Position Senor what is its purpose? Also my car has no power like when i step on the gas it doesn't go up very high and just sounds weird. My ECU is flashing a code 19. If that is out where can i get a new one of these i can't get one in this town cause i don't have a Acura dealer and Advance Auto(which is the only auto parts store we have) doesn't carry it for the year i got the motor out of so hopefully you guys/gals could give me some links to help me out. I have 1988 Acura Intergra ZC with a D16A1 head on it. Just to make sure that were on the samething i'm talking about that big round type thing that is next to the dizzy on the right side which is the on the exhaust cam it has at green plug coming out of it. Thanks for any help.

Code 19 = auto tranny lockup solenoid error. You might want to try a manual transmission ECU.

Where do you get you have a problem with the CYP?

If this is a teething problem from your swap, and you had to wire the CYP yourself, you might try to reverse the pins of it *if* you have a CYP code 9 and not a tranny code 19

Yeah sorry it was a code 9 not 19 i have no idea why i put that but it is a code 9. What do you mean reverse the the pins, do you mean the two wires? Okay i'll explain how we got this to work, we use a D16A6(91 Civic SI) wiring harness stole the connect off the dizzy of the ZC wiring harness cause that was the only difference between the two. Then we spliced some wires and ran the two extra wires off the dizzy to the Crank Position Sensor also jacked that connector off the ZC wiring harness to connect to the Crank Position Sensor. Now do you mean to change the two wires around that are on the Crank Position Sensor connector or what? Thanks for any help. Also running the stock Civic SI(D16A6) ecu could that be why it's not runnin right? Thanks again
