CX hatch swap in d16z6 how to wire vtec ?
hi people my friend want to swap a d16z6 in his CX hatch but he don't know if he need to wire it to vtec does he have too ? and if it does how do we do it thank !

maybe someone should look at a wiring diagram. its not hard. you have to pin the ecu and run the two wires into the engine bay. SEARCH

some cx eg hatches do have wires runing to the ecu already...but mostly in 92's only. some other years too but not too many. all you need is 3 wires. 1 spool/solenoid, 1 pressure, and 1 ground. thats it.
the 3 plugs for the ecu is a, b, and d. soleniod= yel/grn pressure= blue ground= black yel/grn goes to A4, blue goes to D6, and ground goes to a good chassie ground. hope this helps. good luck |

so all u basicly do is wire the vtec solenoid? wire into the ecu ?

yes true...but you might wanna check and see if its already wired for vtec...then all you have to do is connect wires from the engine bay. but if not...you'll have to run wires from the engine to the ecu.
