CRX Si tranny

would an Si tranny match up to a DOHC D16a1 integra motor, pretty sure bolt pattern is ok , but splines is my question..... M.Y.CRX

Be more specific than Si tranny.

AFAIK, 90-00 D trannys have the same spline count. Wait for Bone to chime in to verify or cast me down.

yes it will work kinda... all but one started bolt lines up and you have to grind the block or tranny down a bit for it to work. use the clutch and flywheel that go to the trany. Also if you are puting a a1 in a ef or eg have fun making a driverside mount lol.

yes i saw the mount on HT, no thanks not that interested in doing that, but now have a question, will the pistons from d16a1 fit into a d15b2 to up compression, the motor isnt gonna be turbo tho.... wifes daily driver.....

Re: CRX Si tranny

the A1 pistons will only bump the compression from 9.2 to 9.4, not worth it.
