Default CRX B swap shift linkage

I was told I just add 2.5 inches to both of the stock CRX shift linkage and it will work with my B swap. Is this true?

you can make the stock stuff work but 90-93 teg shift linkage is much better. to make the stock stuff work its not just add 3" its really a pain to get the angles right. Start off with the 90-93 trust me

i made one, took 20 minutes and is still working perfect in it's 3rd chassis now. Funny thing kinda, the guy who has it now hates my guts and swears i dont know ---- about cars, doesn't know i made it or the wiring harness in his car.

I just picked a spot and cut the teg one, bolted it into the car on both ends, lifted it up, marked where one met the other on the stabilizer. Pulled that side out and cut it 1/2" past the mark, used that piece as a guide to cut the same length out of the shifter. Then I slid in some small rod, bolted it back in so the rod was slid into the tranny side pieces i left up there. Had someone hold the shifter in nuetral (after making sure the tranny was in nuetral) and tacked everything. Then I pulled it out and welded it. All done, and working in 3 cars for 2 years!

Watch the angles if you're welding b/c my friend had one welded in his ef hatch and the shifter angle was just absolutely annoying. We just installed some of the az racing linkages in my friends CRX and they shift like they were oem.

I paid the same amount for a new hasport linkage off ebay. Anyway I first thought about cutting the teg linkage, but after reading people complaining about shifting problem (becuase of not getting the angle right), I changed my mind, bought one and called it a day.

I already bought the mounts and the linkage. They should be here any day.
