Crank and Bearing ?????

Crank and Bearing ?????
The block is d16a6 with 10.5:1 SRP High Compression pistons and the crank was balanced and it looks shaved in a couple places, hence the blueprinting and balance. Anyway the thing spun a bearing and broke a rod bolt. the crank, pistons, piston rings, rods and sleeves look fine. Can i go back a replace the bearings and rods or do i have to take the crank to a machine shop. Also the guys at my shop said that replaceing the bearing requires specail tools and measurements. What are these tools and measuerment they speak of? does anyone have this info, and i need new rods and bolts perferably aftermarket rods and bolts.

Re:Crank and Bearing ?????
I would go to the machine shop.. Shorty's made a good point and it's risky jsut throwing it back in there.. What if it happens again? Then you jsut have more thigns to fix.. I'm not 100% about it but i'd say for some good insurance have it checked..

Re:Crank and Bearing ?????
No you dont need any special tools to put in bearings or anything like that. Just buy some new ones but make sure they have the proper oil clearences. Ask the previous owner what size the bearings were (they have standard, 10 over, ect.)Get the crank polished, you might as well.
After getting the bearings make sure to check for clearences by using plasti-gauge. Also use motor assembly lube. By the way you wanted the rods right? If yes, I havent received the check, but as soon as I receive it the rods will be sent right away.
