compression test
I used the compression calculator and got 9.1:1 on a z6 cpr low comp pistons/eagle h beams I was just wondering if I did a compression test what would it be? would it be lower than stock like 180ish
Yes, yes it does.
Approximately ‘Healthy’ numbers –
· 8:1-8.5:1 compression: 150-170 psi per cylinder
· 8.5:1~9.5:1 compression: 170-210 psi per cylinder
· 9.5:1~11:1 compression: 210-275 psi per cylinder
· 11:1+ compression: 250+ per cylinder (highly depends on cams being used)
Got this from Xenocron's pre tuning checklist.
