codes 9 and 15
i was trying to wire up a toggle switch for my launch control last night, it was an illuminated one, so i wire the 'acc' leg on the switch to my kick panel fuse box. well, started smoking, popped the wire out, etc. so, turn the key, nothing happens, no lights, no nothing. check the ign. fuse and i popped it. i don't have a 40a fuse handy, so i hardwired it and got the lights and power back, but it won't turn over and i'm getting cylinder sensor and ign. output, all related to ign. obviously, so is it b/c i don't have the proper amperage fuse in there?? i'll get one today, but just making sure it's not something else :P

Re: codes 9 and 15
if the fuse is less amps than supposed to it will blow every time.. if it is more ampos ex 30a in a 15a spot itll work but is risky to damaging something..\\\
smoke huh.. sounds like a few blown fuses. ive done that before... driving down the road and your ---- starts smokin like a forest fire because i wire rubbed through and shorted.

well, the only blown fuse i found was the ign fuse, it's one of the big screw down fuses, so i stuck a wire in it's place, so technically that would be more amperage and should have at least started, it did fix the ign. power, but then i got the codes for cyp and ignition out put. is it possible i fried something else or would not having the correct fuse cause those??

---- ---- tit dick. i replaced the coil and still no spark i'm ------- lost, unless i fried some wires under the dash, i have no ------- clue. i started taking out my dash and fuse panel last night, looks like a shitty weekend
