Before i go ordering a clutch from stealthmodeperformance, does anyone have any props they can give to the clutches? and, what's the difference between sprung and unsprung? does it depend on the application? sorry for the newb question.

Re:need opinions on b&d clutches

sprung and unsprung referrs to the hub of the clutch disk. If its sprung itll soften the engagement somewhat... Unsprung can be harsh, especially in traffic. I had a 3 puck unsprung and it was nearly impossible to leave a traffic light without burning out. My 6 puck sprung is much much better.

Re:need opinions on b&d clutches

so for a daily driver i should get sprung, cuz i don't need all that noise, plus thats gotta be bad for the tranny?

Re:clutch question

might as well, its easier to drive and a lil easier on parts

Go with Stealthmode's clutches man. From what Steve has told me the Clutch Specialties clutches are pretty damn good.

If you want it for your daily driver. I definately recommend the sprung clutch. You wont be unhappy with anything from clutch specialties
