Clutch problems with my accord.
So yeah my girlfriend comes home and says my clutch pedal has no pressure and just hits the floor. I figured it was just the master cylinder. it's been leaking a little into the into the floor board since summer. So I changed the master cylinder and it won't build any pressure while we were bleeding it. So I took a pry bar and down by the slave cylinder and opened the clutch all the way myself.
the it had pressure at the pedal and would hold it, but I drove it up the road and it would never completely engage the clutch when I let off the pedal it got so bad I barily made it home at about 10mph trying not to slip it and ruin my disc. So I pryed the slave cylinder closed and it engages all the way but I only have about a 1/2 inch of pedal travel before the clutch engages and stalls.
Any Idea's I'm thinking slave cylinder now? The master cylinder is new and those are the only two parts to the system right?

Re: Clutch problems with my accord.
Same thing happened to me a few Summers ago. My MC blew out in the HS parking lot so I had to drive home with like 1/4" of clutch. Then we replaced it and the slave went out a few weeks later, so I got a new slave. My slave seized up whereas the master seals just blew out and fluid was all over the inside of the car.

how long did you bleed it? i just did this on my friends car and we sat there and bled it for about 45 minutes, slowly slowly slowly getting pressure back before she could drive her car again.
