thanks chris ill order a new cable, and while im waiting ill try the spacer. best place for it under the fork agains the bottom of the cable, or up top under the adjustment nut?

put a hose clamp around the rubber part of the bushing under on the cable, no spacers needed.

i doubt that will fix it though, sounds like you put the PP in backwards.

the fork has come away from the realease bearing.

if u put it in funky it can come undone/stick on the imput shaft and then this happens, it happened to me

i was thinking that mayve happened until i pulled up on the cable and i could hear the t/o bearing touching the pp....so not so sure now

I had this problem with a vehicle of mine awhile back. My clutch ended up fusing to the flywheel after I had extensively cleaned the engine bay and then let the vehicle sit for some months. I ended up spraying a can of brake clean into the inspection area, jacked the car up, started it up in first gear and floored it wildly while pushing in the clutch, it broke loose after a couple attempts. This method is very ghetto, but it worked!
