Clutch burnt up after 4k miles?!?!
Alright, so I've had my 89 hf for about 10k miles. about 5,000 have been boosted. When I was first turbo'ed I had a exedy street clutch that didn't last for long. After that I had a xtd stage 3 clutch and flywheel put in. The clutch should be able to hold 273 tq and 300 hp. I am not close to either of those with 7 psi on a d15.
This week I was driving on the freeway and I put it at about 1/2 throttle in fifth and the clutch slipped. I thought it was weird, but i ignored it and kept driving. It's just gotten worse and worse, and now It's getting pretty bad. It feels like a typical clutch going out.. but i have no clue how the hell a 300 hp clutch that should last at least 10k miles is going out on me?! I have been very nice to this clutch and haven't even done a single burnout on it. What else could be causing this?

maybe... main oil seal went and you got oil on the flywheel/clutch. Just a thought... maybe. Do you have the flywheel plate covering? How about... the fact thats its an XTD? I dunno man. Sounds fishy.

i have that clutch and haven't had any problems. 7 months 10-12 lbs boost.
maybe the disc is glazed. or some grease/oil got on the disc somehow. last thing i can think of is clutch not fully engaged when clutch pedal released. but you said you adjusted the cable.
