clutch alignment tool??

so you just put the clutch alignment tool on, then put the clutch and pp on, torque down the pp, then take the alignment tool off and put the tranny on?

first put the clutch plate on.
then put the pp on and align it with the drown on the flywheel. put those 10mm bolt in, hand tighten it.

then stick the clutch aligment tool into the center throught the clutch plate till it is snug with the pilot bearing. now the thing sits vertical with the pilot bearing which means it is aligned with the output shaft which means the clutch plate lines up with the shaft too. then tork down the 10mm bolts, take the tool out and put the tranny back

its really easy man just do it!

put the clutch disk on then the 10mm socket with extension, them put the pressure plate over everything. had tighten everything ( with tool sill centereing the clutch disk to the bearing on the flywheel. and make sure you torque to i beleive 19 lbs and your done!

if you're going to change the clutch yourself make sure you give yourself a good 2 days unless you have a 2nd car.

hahahah teg just use a damn socket
actually i used 2 sockets

1 10 and another 12 or 14
went in like a glove
just tighten each bolt little by little so it doesnt shift on u

two days for what? i took the whole engine out to change the clutch b/c i filled my motor mounts with window weld too, i could have had it out, tranny off, new clutch in, engine back in in one day if i didn't have to wait for the motor mounts to dry :P

---- that. 2 days for what! we had the motor back in and probably couldve started it in about an hour or so...----, i know we couldve pulled the motor, changed the clutch, and put the ---- back in, in about a days work no problem. who the ---- is smokin crack with 2 days...

and...when we put the 2nd clutch on... :P we didnt even use a clutch alignment tool. (or the right one anyways)
