Clutch
So im putting together my clutch. There is the flywheel then the disc then the piece that goes over the disc and bolts up to the flywheel. The part that bolts to the flywheel does not go all the way down. Then i threw the stock one back on and it still doesnt sit flat on the flywheel... Any ideas? Is it made to do this and from the bolts getting tighter will it make it sit flat? Thanks!

Re: Clutch
it should pull up when you tighten the pressure plate bolts...go back and forth

Re: Clutch
It should not just slide around on its own. Just get it lined up on the three pins and then tighten it evenly all around.

Re: Clutch

Re: Clutch
Are you sure you should be doing this?
Just tighten it down, do you think if there was no excess contact between the Flywheel to the clutch to the PRESSURE PLATE that it would hold power! It's called a Pressure plate, and there is a reason why it's called that! |
