get measurements first, i think there might be a problem w/ the wrist pins.

Out of topic but have you thought of a b20 crank in there. What kind of head are you using ( the oon that is built already)?

EXACTLY the same, maybe not, but they have the same stroke so there would be no point.

B Series Compression Calculator:
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c...c/compcalc.php

i wouldn't go higher than 12:1 on a street car.... but that's just me.

I cant vouch for CTR pistons on LS rods, but I recently stuffed US ITR pistons on B16 rods, and they required some 'work' to fit. The wrist pin area of the piston is just a **** hair too small for the B16 rods. I had to have a very small ammount of material machined from the pistons.

I dont know for sure, but Im pretty certain that if ITR's dont fit then CTR's wont either.

Anyone know for sure?

yeah you have to get that machined or it doesnt fit at all. if your gonna stay with an ls get the ctr pistons but if your gonna go ls/vtec get the itr's cause the ctr's would give u a really high cr. which isnt very good for a daily driver. you'd hurt that thing driving it around unless u were on some really high octane. but yeah just my .02 cents

those pistons give those compressions in their own respective engines. i don't have those engines, i have an ls. if you saw the link earlier, you would have seen that i have an ls, and putting itr's in would give me a 10.8 compression, and ctr's would give me 11.4 compression because of the higher dome (using the compression calculater). the guys before me know what they're talking about.
