i've heard ctr's give you around 11.4 compression because of the higher dome whereas jdm itr's give you around 10.8. so i figured going with the ctr's instead..

wait im confused...I thought the b18 was 1.8L and the b16 was 1.6L,so how are u gonna put 1.6L pistons in a 1.8 block? aint they gonna be too small?Maybe this is just a stupid question.

b series pistons are interchangeable, it's the crank and rods (stroke) that make a 1.6 and 1.8 different.......

I would go with some ITR or second Gen B16 pistons since they are a little lower for street driving. Plus if you add a Vtec head or need to shave the head in the future the CTR pistons will have a really high cpr. But it all depends on what kind of gas and tunning, bigger cams would like the high cpr with the Ctr's pistons. just my oppinion though.

i think they're a little less than most forged pistons. i think you can usually get a new oem set for under 300......
