Im looking into getting an aluminum civic half radiator for my 91 crx. Im hoping it will fix my clearence issues with my turbo and manifold. So Im looking for the width of the radiator so I can see if it will work for me. Also if anyone has done this before. what did you use to mount the radiator? did you have to get new hoses?

somewhere i heard a dodge neon radiator could be used to cut down on space.. I hate neons. Anyone have any suggestions on that?

 

i just got done putting my half radiator in my 1990 hatch. took a little cutting and fabing but it came out pretty nicely for the time i took to do it. i had to make it sit about an inch lower than the stock one because it is also and inch taller than the stock one. i post picks of the stuff i did once i get around to it.

 

I trimmed the hood bracing to fit mine in there better, that worked fine, then I bent a little bracket and we're golden. Not enough cooling for road racing though, and my car hates drifting with that little thing.
