Wrong! You can do it that way, but the stock PCV needs to be on the IM side of that tee. Otherwise, when you boost the pressure in the IM will just flow through the can and back into the pre-turbo intake. Your crankcase will NOT see Vac under boost the way you show it in the pic.
Also, I think you already know that you need to lose the vent or else the system won't work. And you can stuff the resevoir with steel wool to catch oil VAPOR. Works like a filter. P.S. I like the inline filter idea, but it needs to be over on the pre-turbo line. You're not going to get any detination from oil vapor while you're in vacuum. |

what is wrong with just running a line from the black box to a catch can, then a line from the VC to the catch can? on a 180-200whp D....

One goes to a vacuum source pre turbo, the other goes to the vacuum source on the intake mani. Make sure you have one way PCV valves on both of those lines.

this is my problem, everybody says something different. is there a PCV for dummies thread? if i understood it a little more i wouldnt be so confused.
