Default Changing a Head Gasket

Ok, I'm pretty sure I'm due for one. Who all has changed theirs and anybody have any tips to speed up the process? This is my first time changing one on a Z6, do I need to remove cam to get to all the bolts like on the b18?

on a d series no! all you need to do is set it at tdc, remove valve cover, slide timing belt off pulley, make sure you mark the location of the belt on the pulley, remove head bolts, remove head, after you diconnect all the hose and plugs attached to the head and IM thats all.
