Default CEL CODE 19 control lock up ( A/T) how to??

Im finally geting CEL/MIL

My ECU is Automatic..OBD-1 p08 ( no wonder it was cheap. )

getting CEL 19: lock up control solenoid valve(automatic transmission)
will this keep the engine from starting?
How do i bypass this without haveing the ECU reprogrammed

The Car is Obd-0 88 Civic DX
the ECU is 93 P08 EG8 Automatic

If the reprogramming is only solution where do i get this done or how do i do it myself ( PREFERED!! ). [ No one touchs my Bitch ]

ok i fixed this i just ground both of these...DUH!!

ok no CEL Code still i can't get power to the Ignitor..
IE no power from the the ECU to THE ICM

ICM = ignitor unit?
the ignitor and coil get their power through the large black/yellow wire in the engine harness, which is directly fed by the ignition switch according to my CRX diagrams. the white wire between the ignitor and ECU is for the ignition signal... to my knowledge, there shouldn't be any power there except when the ECU tries to fire a sparkplug.
i recall reading (on PGMFI maybe?) that switching an auto to manual was just a matter of removing a few components from the ECU. apparently, quite a few ECUs carry the code for both manual and automatic operation - you just need to tell it which to use by setting a few jumpers.
