CBR 929 ITB's (You useless niggers)
just got these today.
need to know what's goin on here? im guessing some sort of cold idle control http://images-space.no-ip.org/files/17/IMG_1032.jpg http://images-space.no-ip.org/files/17/IMG_1033.jpg this valve can be controlled by cranking that knob on the hose, and it has a couple vacuum ports on it...do i need to give this a vacuum source or just leave it open and ignore it? |
Re: CBR 929 ITB's

Re: CBR 929 ITB's
929RR ITBs are too small for a D15B7.
954RR's are a good match for a bone stock ZC, although they do start to drop power past 7K it's not by too much. FYI, stock bore motorcycle ITBs on most of the stronger running Honduh engines... is a waste of time. |

Re: CBR 929 ITB's (You useless niggers)
if your running the stock computer you would need to leave the IACV plugged in and dangling, but idk if your tuning software offers a iacv disable, if it does then you may not.
You will probably need to leave the stock idle control valve and lil knob thing in place so you can set your idle. Or, here's a random ass idea i just had. Machine an adaptor block for the stock IACV that will allow you to run a hose to the vacuum block (that i'm assuming you will be using to get a clean signal for the map sensor) and let it control the idle. |
Re: CBR 929 ITB's (You useless niggers)
What engine management are you running? If its Uberdata or Crome I'd say ---- the IACV and don't use it at all.
