main relay.
take it out and resolder the connections on the board.

Sorry guys, I forgot about this thread.

I tested the coil, spec'd out fine. My next suspicion was the igniter, but I didn't even get around to test it because I got a nice used distributor for $50. I threw that in and it started up fine.

It was probably the coil. "test" well and works well are two different things - welcome to intermittant connections.

Yea I've heard of that happening before too, you just think it's rare for the igniter to go out? I might as well get a used working coil if that's the case so I have an extra working distributor.
