OK, so for some advice :-) I had this happen to my DA for a while...and I just added radiator fluid (in winter make sure it's 50/50 antifreeze) and this resolved it, car warms up faster (still takes 10 minutes in below freezing weather), and heater blows hot :-)

Hey jon. My car never heats up during the winter. Ive got a dual core radiator and i dont think that helps at all. I think im going to try the cardboard trick. My roomate had the same issues. It must be a honda thing.

My daily driver went from warming right up the first year my momma owned it, to freezing the next, and freezing me the next two winters. Going on the third feeezing *** winter, and since the engine swap (thank you Mr Blundell) it on again off again heats up quickly. I'm pretty sure I have crap clogging up my heater core.

Thanks again guys, I am going to do the cardboard trick on Friday. I'll let you know if that speeds up the heating.
