Here is my setup:
Y7 block (p29 pistons)
y8 head (springs, reteainers, camshaft stage 3, skunk2 cam gear) ported/ poolished
skunk2 I/M, 70 mm bbk TB
denso iridium ik20 (colder plugs for c/r)
headers 4-1
vafc 2
p28 ecu (ebay chip... just for rev limiter)

The car is runnig great, pull the gears fast but cant rev over 7800 rpm, i tried everything (timming, fuel, another chips)and the same thing. any idea please let me know to try it!! thanks. by the way i just one to reach 8.5k with my setup i know i can do it.

 

it doesnt have enough power to do so. are you trying to kill this engine?

 

you are gonna spin a bearing in no time. i have spun tons of them with the stock 7200 rev limit. any day now you will be posting about a spun bearing

of course i did!! some people here are revving Dīs at 9k rpm with stock rods guys... beleived or not... its not a valve float what happened on my engine.. its working great.. i think is timing, the engine has 245 psi of compression exactly in all 4 cilinders, afrīs 12.5 wot.. today i will try go down a little bit to 12.0 - 12.2 on 6k to 8.5k to see, if not i will try timming now im ussing 10* for high compression, i let you know...
and i know what is a spun bearing pal!! i can rebuild motors!! but i don know everything.. thats why im posting here, trying to find some ideas about.

 

Lol did you check first off to see what rev limit the ebay chip was set at? IMO ebay chips are pure garbage, almost as bad as the one guy that used to be on there selling resistors to jump across the service connector as an ecu mod. :P
