will a stock y8 vtec camshaft make a difference on a y7 head ?

People are dumb, it's a VTAK cam, it has double the lobes as the Y7 non-VTAK cam.

this what got A d16 block with y7 head' running 15.8 down the 1/4 mile and now dont know what to do to make more power.. plus i'm low on buget..

forget the cam, go mini-me then crower NA stage 2 cam, then turbo it.
