cam caps on B-series heads....they interchangable?
some guy is tring to sell me a head, but it doesnt have any cam caps, or rockers.... i know the rockers are fine from another head, but im under the impression that the cap caps are machined with the head. is that true

i vote no, cause if you can get them align bored ($) then you need cam bearings, because the cams will be smaller than the bore ($) and you would probably have been better off just getting a head someone hadnt fucked up.

Properly done, align bored will be the FACTORY size, not bigger..........

I cant see it being a problem, since cams are interchangeable no problems, and there is no cam journal to cam cap clearences, I'd say its fine.
I would try to stick with the same series head though.

take 2 35mm half cicles, and put them together crooked, the only way to get another perfect circle is to make it larger than 35mm.
