Oh, yah, if the shop is a motorcycle shop they can port a Honduh car head pretty well even if they've never seen one before.

Well the most I ever did personlly do one was years and years ago. Carbed ls 48mm webers,pr3 pistons,dc heade,ported head and piss for tuning. car made 160 something on the dyno and ran 12's in a 1986 crx. Maybe there was 40 hp there

Has far has valve jobs go portflow also does some way to extreme valve jobs has well. Portflow also cuts down flush on both exhaust/intake guides

I hear you. The problem with NA cars is they can be finicky as hell. Turbo cars can be down on power but still make a freaking ton of power, just keep yamming the boost controller. Some of the least efficient hp per psi setups make the most power, it's not often you see 440 whp out of a B16 on pump so what if it took 24 psi on a T67 to do it.

I tuned a stock H22 a couple months back, 187 whp 156 wtq, guy gets all happy and buys cams an stuff... 189 whp and 168 wtq WTF? I think there isn't enough CR for the cams, and the exhaust is too small. I get more time with it this week going to remove the catback and see what's up.. The torque in the midrange is huge and then just drops off hard.

gotcha. we are hopfully gonna start tunin on it middle of next week. that is if it cranks and doesnt have a knock or anything.lol. im sure its gonna be a bitch to tune this thing. i wish we had a dyno lol. i got a decent exhaust 2.5 all the way back one str8 thru resonator and a apexi muffler i got for the low.
i do miss hte turbo cuz i did have to run an exhaust.lol.

the head has smaller then stock cams but the head is ported to them. so wat do u think would happen if i put a set of bigger cams in like some 404s that have alot more lift.
