Building D15b2

Building D15b2
Picked up a 92 Civic dx the other day, in running condition. It has the usual rust around the read fenders but that doesnt bother me the slightest. Okay so it comes with a d15b2 which is obviously not the best motor for boosting applications because of the shitty rods. I'm just wondering what I can do with it instead of getting new rods and pistons but still be able to run about 10 psi with a T3 turbo.
Things I've thought about:
-Block Posting
-Porting the head
-Uberdata or Crome for management
-dsm 450's
I know these don't take care of the rod problem, but because of my extremely low budget, being 16 and having to use my friends garage I'm wondering what exactly I can do to ready this little piece of ---- for the boost cause I cant afford for it to blow.

i dont know how much hp that motor can take in mostly stock form before it dies but im sure numbers are floating around somewhere. if the numbers are not as high as you want, then look into a swap and then turbo that later on
