well you say your d is built. so if you have money to do that then you can tune. If you get it tuned the right way 10.1 and turbo would bring out some aesome numbers and can still be safe...

Why is 10:1 too high? Are they flat-tops. And ---- using a thicker gasket, you're just asking for trouble.

I don't see why 10:1 is too high at all for Turbo?? Think of it like this... The B18C1 GSR motor is like 10.1:1 and guy's run 14-15psi day in and day out on pump gas(93 oct. of coarse), with out any problems. It all comes down to the fact you can run 15psi on pump(any higher and I'd use race gas at the track). As long as you tune accordingly.... you should be fine in this case.
